Chevrolet ZH2 is a hydrogen fuel cell truck used by the U.S. Army.

Chevrolet ZH2 is a truck that runs on a hydrogen fuel cell, and is developed by General Motors and the U.S. Army.

The truck turns fuel into water, which means that doesn’t burn any kind of fossil fuels to run.

A hydrogen fuel cell takes the hydrogen as gas from a tank (located on board of the vehicle), and the oxygen from the air, and combines them together inside the stack to generate electricity.

The only thing that comes out of the stack (besides the energy that is converted into electricity) is water, so no harmful emissions.

There is a possibility to create drinking water by using the exhaust gas that comes out of the fuel cell or the engine, so soldiers can produce their own drinking water while operating the vehicle.

If the soldiers want to produce fresh and clean water, they need to keep the tailpipe as clean as possible.

The vehicle operates very quietly, and because there is no combustion engine involved, its heat signature is lower, so it’s harder to be detected by a heat-sensing night vision camera.

Another advantage that comes with the vehicle is the energy economy, the truck is not wasting too much energy through heat because the energy produced by the hydrogen fuel cell is mostly converted into electricity to power the vehicle.

As a result of the on-board energy economy, the vehicle is transporting only about 5 to 6 kilograms of hydrogen that ensures a range between 200 and 300 miles.

The vehicle can be filled up with hydrogen in only three minutes, so it can be back on the road with full range very quickly.

This truck used by the U.S. Army that uses the hydrogen fuel cell powertrain is not very expensive compared with a regular diesel truck for military use due to the fact that the amount of precious metals on-board was reduced in order to make the truck more commercially viable.
