Tesla Model S P100D Ludicrous (without Ludicrous Plus mode) is back on track to smash a brand-new 640 HP Cadillac CTS-V in a new drag race.
At the end of the video we’ll see the quickest 4 door sedan in action, which is also the Tesla Model S P100D Ludicrous that set a new world record (10.72 seconds) in a quarter mile race.
Let’s see the cars first:
Tesla Model S P100 D is the well-known all-electric supercar with all-wheel drive (AWD) that uses two electric motors, producing together 762 HP and 713 lb-ft. of torque.
Tesla in Ludicrous mode does 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, and its best 1/4 mile time by now was 10.76 seconds, but today we have the chance to see an improvement of these numbers.
2017 Cadillac CTS-V is an American super car with rear-wheel drive (RWD) that uses a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine, which develops 640 HP and 630 lb-ft. of torque.
2017 Cadillac CTS-V does 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 mph (Tesla S is limited to 155 mph).
The first part of the video shows the drag race between Tesla and the Cadillac, and the second part shows the new world record set by a Tesla Model S P100D in a quarter mile race.
