Tesla Model X P100D Ludicrous vs Lamborghini Aventador SV In A New Drag Race

Tesla Model X P100D Ludicrous wins a drag race against a very fast Lamborghini Aventador SV.

In today’s race, an electric SUV (Tesla Model X P100D Ludicrous) manages to win a difficult drag race, and to set a new record for the world’s quickest SUV against a very fast Lamborghini Aventador SV.

Let’s see the specs of these vehicles first:

Tesla Model X P100D Ludicrous is an electric SUV with all-wheel drive (AWD) that uses two electric motors developing 588 HP and 920 lb-ft. of torque.

This electric SUV weighs 5,400 lbs. and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, ending the 1/4 mile drag race in 11.4 seconds.

Lamborghini Aventador SV is a petrol-based supercar with all-wheel drive (AWD) using a 6.5 Liter V-12 engine that develops 750 HP and 507 lb-ft. of torque.

This Lambo weighs 4,200 lbs. (is much lighter than the Tesla SUV) does 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds, and ends the 1/4 mile race in only 10.4 seconds.

These numbers are showing that this Lamborghini Aventador SV is much faster than the Tesla SUV, but in a drag race, not only the figures are important, the drivers are actually the most important pieces in the puzzle of the race.

Tesla Model X P100D Ludicrous won the drag race against the Lamborghini Aventador SV, and set a new record for the world’s quickest SUV ending the 1/4 race in 11.41 seconds.

At the end of the video, you can watch a Tesla Model S P100D Ludicrous loosing the drag race against the same Lamborghini, just because the driver of the Tesla launched the vehicle a bit later after the green light.
